We love Lewes! That’s why members of the Greater Lewes Foundation Legacy Society are leaving bequests to support the Lewes community. The GLF is the ideal fiduciary with which to entrust bequests. Your donations will always be managed by a board of community leaders who will oversee the professional investment of endowment funds.

The GLF Board will also ensure that annual distributions from named funds are used exactly as specified — for example, to support a scholarship or a specific nonprofit.

Legacy Society members are:

Paul & Beth Bechly
Hon. Ted Becker
Robert & Valerie Cloutier
Connie Costigan
Pete & Betsy Hansot
Peter & Diane Issel
Dinah Reath
Midge Smith & Carl Wisler
W. Joseph Stewart
Barbara Vaughan

Helping our community.

Through the GLF, donors can direct their gifts to create permanent endowments and
appoint children, grandchildren or trusted friends to serve as advisors in years to come.
If no advisors are available, the GLF board will see that the annual distributions from your
funds fulfill your charitable intents.

The GLF can help you with planned giving, from a simple bequest to more complex instruments. If income is important, consider a charitable gift annuity that will pay an above-average rate of return during your lifetime(s), then use the balance to create a permanent endowed fund with the GLF.

Please consider creating a bequest to support a worthy Lewes-area cause. The Greater
Lewes Foundation is here to manage your perpetual philanthropy.

For a confidential meeting to discuss the creation of a bequest through the GLF Legacy Society, please call or email: Michael Rawl at 302-644-0107 or
